DALI-2 Repeater LI (SO) – your key to simple and yet efficient light management
We have specifically optimized our DALI-2 repeater series to respond to the increasing demand of industry for intelligent lighting control solutions that are nowadays becoming more and more complex and fragmented. These sophisticated devices allow users to group several DALI devices of the same area under the same address, thus significantly reducing the commissioning time of every DALI installation. Just think about warehouses or large luminous ceilings: wherever there is no need to individually identify DALI participants, the DALI-2 Repeater reduces the number of DALI addresses and current consumption alike.
Optimized commissioning and system overview
Imagine if you needed just one single DALI address for all the luminaires assigned to the same luminaire group – while even extending the maximum line length of your DALI system by another 300 meters!
This not only saves you valuable commissioning time – but reducing the number of DALI addresses also reduces the number of DALI necessary outputs on your controller, which, in turn, can bring down your costs significantly.
Advanced control functions
What’s new? The DALI-2 Repeater from Inventronics now also supports DALI-2 light and presence sensors; and here again, just one single DALI address is required, the light values are averaged, and the motion detection is processed analogous to parallel connection. Tunable White (TW) devices are also supported.
When operating the DALI-2 Repeater in Line Extend mode, the system boundaries of the DALI installation can even be extended by another 300 meters, with the controller still being able to control each DALI device individually.
Power and precision
DALI-2 Repeaters from Inventronics are also perfect to ensure that your DALI controller has to provide less electrical current. The LI version boasts a signal amplification of 130 mA, whereas the SO version increases this power to 250 mA to even supply power-hungry DALI sensors. The DALI controller itself thus only has to provide an electrical current of 2 mA per DALI-2 Repeater in both operating modes.
Compact design for easy integration
Both devices have been completely technically revised while at the same time reducing their volume by an impressive 30%. The compact design of the DALI-2 Repeater SO saves precious space in the control cabinet whereas the new design of the DALI-2 Repeater LI facilitates integration into luminaires. In addition, this design is now compatible with our standard cable clamp for integration into recessed ceilings.
Energy monitoring
Inventronics has extended its DALI-2 Repeater series by essential DALI Data functions for both energy monitoring and system optimization. These functions enable, for example, precise energy consumption tracking, which will be of even greater importance in the future.
