From conventional to intelligent: HubSense

Technical Application Knowledge: From practice, for practice

With HubSense from Inventronics it is now possible to transform existing installations into flexible, wirelessly communicating lighting infrastructure within the scope of a modernization project. So how does this work? It couldn’t be easier!

In fact, HubSense is simple and intuitive to navigate: this easily scalable solution is the perfect choice for both new lighting installations and retrofits, making the planning, configuration and commissioning of wireless lighting control easier than ever before – from convenient planning with the web app to commissioning via smartphone app to user-friendly operation: for single offices, corridors, conference rooms, and open-plan offices.

With the HubSense system, you can work more cost-effectively in every project phase – from planning and installation to handover and daily operation.

There are three simple steps:

  1. Planning
Thanks to reliable, wireless Bluetooth® Mesh technology, implementing a scalable new or retrofit lighting solution requires neither control lines nor gateways. Using the web app, it can be planned and pre-commissioned from anywhere in the world; afterwards, the corresponding data is available in the cloud.
  2. Installation
Not only can the existing infrastructure be used without costly and time-consuming rewiring, but there is no need for gateways or other complex IT elements. Lighting installers benefit from the fact that the retrofit of existing luminaires is also really easy. And: With the standardized, wireless Bluetooth® Networked Lighting Control (NLC) technology, structural building work is now a thing of the past!
  3. Commissioning and testing
On-site commissioning can be carried out by several installers at the same time – and the smartphone app noticeably facilitates luminaire localization and zone assignment. Afterwards, all the relevant information is available in the cloud.
Compared to wired systems, this significantly reduces the time necessary for commissioning. Moreover, thanks to the standardized wireless technology Qualified Bluetooth® Mesh (QBM), no structural building work is required.

Light can be wireless, flexible, intuitive and easy to use – just go for it!
