OSRAM’s versatile FLEX portfolio offers many products with an IP68 rating
With a wide range of high-quality LED strips, the FLEX portfolio from OSRAM offers numerous possibilities for creative, state-of-the-art lighting design. Due to the fact that these strips are not only easily bendable, but also highly versatile in terms of their application possibilities, they provide utmost flexibility – in the literal as well as in the figurative sense of the word.
Many LED strips within our FLEX portfolio are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Especially for the latter, it goes without saying that they come with the appropriate (IP rating, which means that they have been certified for installation and use where environmental circumstances might be less than ideal – e.g. if they are subject to harsh outdoor weather conditions.
But did you know that many of our FLEX products are even certified for IP68? This means that these products are not only completely protected against the ingress of dust and dirt, but also against the ingress of water to a point where (under certain specified duration and depth conditions), they can even withstand being submerged in water.
