„Light as a Service” – project programming and commissioning by Inventronics

It often happens that customers wish to implement a complex project but lack an in-house department for the project planning and commissioning of the lighting control system. This is exactly where Inventronics GmbH comes into play with its innovative “Light as a Service” concept, offering targeted support.
We do not want to be in competition with our customers – and we rely on productive collaboration based on partnership rather than executing projects all on our own. With this in mind, we are happy to provide our customers with strong support after being commissioned to do so.
This was the case with the project presented here: In close collaboration with our partners, we successfully brought a technically challenging and impressive lighting project to life. The corporate headquarters of LIGNOTREND Produktions GmbH now shines with DALI-controlled, color-changing lighting.

What made this project special was that the lighting in the entire building was to be controlled via DALI and KNX. Glass touch-buttons were planned for manual control, and intelligent building control via KNX also had to be possible. All the areas were equipped with motion sensors (DALI & KNX). In areas exposed to daylight, a daylight-responsive lighting control system (Daylight Light Head, DLH) was additionally deployed, implemented using DALI sensors. All the relevant lighting groups feature Tunable White (TW) light with both uplight and downlight, and light curves are precisely programmed to meet customer-specific requirements (HCL) – delivering a fully customized lighting experience.

The luminaires were supplied by hatec Lichttechnik GmbH, which was also contracted with the overall project coordination. The KNX implementation was successfully carried out by SIS-Schopfheim. Inventronics GmbH was responsible for project planning and commissioning.
