A place for living, nature and the arts
Combining natural elements such as stone, wood, water and light, “The Courtyard” breathes an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility. With its four one-story buildings grouped around a rectangular patio, the ensemble is almost reminiscent of a Roman countryside villa. In fact, however, the house was once no more than a barn, and has just recently seen its complete transformation into an attractively designed private residence. With this project, the architects have created an exceptionally beautiful place to live, where the homeowners are surrounded by select works of art and the breathtaking natural beauty of the English county of Oxfordshire.
Hidden LED strips create a harmonious atmosphere
As leading suppliers of state-of-the-art lighting technology, we at Inventronics (formerly OSRAM Digital Systems) have helped to ensure that both interior design details and artistic elements – such as paintings or sculptures – are perfectly highlighted. In order to do so, we have installed our flexible, linear LED strips in many places – from ceiling coves and skylights to bookshelves and mirror frames, as well as in various areas of the bathrooms, such as on benches, bathtubs, showers or washbasins. Skillfully balanced between decorative and general lighting, this creates a particularly harmonious ambience in every room.
We are very pleased that we could help design this beautiful project with our innovative LED strips. And we are sure that we have not only created the conditions for extraordinary lighting experiences, but have also done our part for the long-term sustainability of the buildings.
