OT 4DIM drivers from OSRAM feature 4DIM functionality in one device – AstroDIM, StepDIM, MainsDIM, and DALI. AstroDIM for autonomous dimming with five independent levels (astro, time mode) allows energy saving even in twilight phases. StepDIM is a one-step dimming mode which uses an additional control line or a switched phase for control, whereas the MainsDIM function is designed for dimming via a reduction of the line voltage amplitude. In addition, the driver family offers an isolated DALI interface for bidirectional telemanagement systems.
Additional highlights of this robust LED driver family include easy and fast luminaire programming via NFC. Customizable thermal management (Driver Guard) is also integrated and the surge protection goes up to 10 kV.
Typical applications are street and urban lighting because the OT 4DIM drivers are suitable for outdoor applications in luminaires with IP > 54 protection as well as outdoor luminaires of protection class I and II.
